Animation Division

  5. DQE has developed hi-end creative, technical & production capabilities to design and produce animation & visual effects for feature films, television and video in 2D, 3D and Digital Animation.
 
Gaming Division
DQE's state-of-the-art GAMING division based in Hyderabad, produces Assets and Full Motion Video creations for Next Generation Console, PC, mobile and online games. A highly qualified and creative team produces

  2. Environments (world), Props, Characters, Vehicles, Weapons
  3. Animation FMV , cinematic , cut scenes, Mocap animation, Mocap Cleanup

Global IP Division
DQE’s major initiatives under this division comprises of:

1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT DIVISION:
This division started in the middle of 2007 and is perhaps the most dynamic division developing over 12 home grown IP’s as well as reincarnations of iconic brands.

This division’s debut production was the launch of BALKAND – a 70’ TV Feature , RAVAN a 70’ TV Feature and OMKAR 70’ TV Feature with Turner Group for the Indian Sub-continent. DQE holds world-wide rights for these productions including Home Video and TV exploitation. The success of Balkand -1 and Ravan-1 has resulted in both the shows now entering their second season of production. Home Entertainment deals for the features are closing soon with an international distributor.

Feluda
The division has acquired rights for the development of OSCAR winner - Late Sri Satyajit Ray’s famous detective stories ‘FELUDA’. The first of these is a television feature special. Mysteries and Feluda - ‘The Kathmandu Caper’ is under production and will hit screens soon with a global distributor on board.

The Jungle Book
This division under its mandate to develop and bring back to life classic and loved iconic brands has successfully launched ‘THE JUNGLE BOOK’ in a hi-end CGI TV & Movie production. ZDF Group, Germany, TF1 Group, France, NBC Universal, London, ABC Teleivison Australia have taken wide ranging rights including some co-production rights for 52x11’ TV series and 1x60’ special Feature (StereoScopic)

The IP division is actively developing Style Guides and in collaboration with the Licensing division is striking global and regional deals for in-door and out-door toys, plush toys, games, publication, home video and many other licensing deals.

Lassie
DQE in association with Classic Media will bring to life, world most loved canine – ‘Lassie’ , in co-development with ZDF Group Germany and ABC Televison , Australia in a 52 x 11’ 3D CGI , Action – Adventure.

 

2. PRODUCT SALES/ LICENSING & DISTRIBUTION DIVISION:
DQE has a library of over 350 hours of iconic global properties through its IP development and co-productions. This includes famous brands such as The Jungle Book., Tara Duncan, Casper’s Scare School, Iron Man, Little Nick , Little Prince, Skyland, Mikido, Sandra, Pinky & Perky, Large Family, Donkey Ollie, Pet Pals, And Yet It Moves, Little Leonardo and many more.

Successful licensing & distribution of DQE properties has gained momentum with successful launch of these projects in the world market. There is also aggressive focus on international Home Video distribution, Publishing, Licensing and Merchandising.

3. LIVE ACTION TELEVISION AND FEATURE FILM :
In its new initiative, DQE has expanded its product mix to include live action production for television and feature films.

DQE with Pritish Nandy Communications, Mumbai and Sony Pictures Entertainment, co-produced and launched ‘MEERABAI NOT OUT’, its first main stream Hindi Bollywood feature film.

DQ’s IP Division is developing a Live Action Bollywood feature film with heavy visual effects and in Scripting for 2 Live Action TV Movies to be launched soon with top Indian Distributors.

DQ is now developing a Children’s Adventure Drama television series ‘Toomai’ – The story of an elephant boy as a
26 x 22’ in association with global partners like ABC television Australia and others with amazing visual effects and charming story-telling, to be shot in the picturesque land of God’s own Country – Kerala.

4. HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT (HRD)
The Company’s mantra is “HAPPY PEOPLE” as the company recognizes that the main assets of the company in a creative industry is motivated and qualified manpower.

The Human Resources (HR) department with its team of motivated young managers and assistants, continues its untiring efforts to keep up morale as well up-grade the skills of the associates through constant mentoring by home grown & international mentors.

With the setting up of the new dedicated training centre’s, HR is geared up to meet the manpower requirement for all of its current & future projects. The HR department also plays a vital role to maintain balance between work and social life of the associates through various initiatives.

The DQ School of Visual Arts operates 7 world class animation and Gaming schools of Visual Arts spread over India and enhancing its reach to Singapore and other neighboring countries for training and development of creative resources.
