Senior Engineer - Graphics Rendering:

Job Description:
  • Responsible for refining and polishing the rendering components of our games.
  • Work with Programming team on all issues related to Graphics and work closely as per the Design requirements and Gameplay Programmers to coordinate deliverables.
Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Game Development.
  • Experienced and proficient in C++.
  • Strong hold on 3D concepts.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong math background.
  • Familiarity with VU0/VU1 programming.
  • Multithreaded/parallel simulation background.
  • Experience with PS2 console development and multi-threaded development would be an added advantage.

Senior Engineer - Networking:

Job Description:
  • Will be responsible for implementing and refining the network layer for the multiplayer components of our games.
  • Work with Programming team on all issues related to networking, and work closely as per the Design requirements and Gameplay Programmers to coordinate deliverables.
  • Create and integrate gameplay systems for a multi-player broadband game on PS2.
  • Design and implement tools to debug, profile, and verify network gameplay functionality for PS2.
  • Work closely with designers to architect and build a system to support the multiplayer aspects of the game design.
  • Implement network related technical requirement features as required by the console manufacturers.
  • Provide documentation and training for other engineers, gameplay programmers and designers.
Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Game Development.
  • Experienced and proficient in C++.
  • Strong knowledge on 3D concepts.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong math background.
  • Familiarity with network tools and debugging techniques.
  • Multithreaded/parallel simulation background.
  • Experience with PS2 console development and multi-threaded development would be an added advantage.

Senior Engineer - AI / Physics:

Job Description:

  • Will be responsible for implementing and refining the Artificial Intelligence for the multiplayer as well as single player components of our games.
  • Work with Programming Team on all issues related to AI, and work closely as per the Design requirements and Gameplay Programmers to coordinate deliverables.
  • Work with little supervision to define AI requirements.
  • Implement AI behavioral features and refine as needed.
  • Implement AI navigation features and refine as needed.
  • Implement collision detection and other physics as needed.
  • Ensure correct operation of AI & physics features in a networked environment where required.
Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Game Development.
  • Experienced and proficient in C++.
  • Strong hold on 3D concepts.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code.
  • Good verbal and written English skills.
  • Strong math background.
  • Prior AI programming experience, preferably on a shipped title.
  • Strong interest in researching and implementing new AI related technologies.
  • Experience with console development & multi-threaded development would be an added advantage.

Engineer - Scripting:

Job Description:

  • Implement and enhance our engine systems,
    including:
    • World and Character Rendering
    • Audio
    • Special Effects
    • Streaming and Loading
    • Game Editing Tools
    • Physics
  • Focus on memory and performance requirements.
  • Refactor and improve upon existing source code.
Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Game Development.
  • Experienced and proficient in C++.
  • Good knowledge about 3D concepts.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong math background.
  • Experience with console development & multi-threaded development would be an added advantage.
  • Prior knowledge of scripting languages like Lua, Python,etc are preferred.
Junior Engineer - Game play:

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the game's AI and player animation systems.
  • Responsible for specific features and are required to take up tasks as directed and accomplish them within the deadlines.
  • Design, write, debug, and refine gameplay.
  • Work with other engineers, designers and animators to ensure features are designed and implemented correctly.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling for your features.
Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced and proficient in C++.
  • Good knowledge about 3D concepts.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong math background.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Game Development with atleast one shipped title would be an added advantage.
